Do Polish citizens need visas for Laos?

Yes. Polish citizens must get a visa to enter Laos. If you are traveling to Laos for tourism purposes, you may now obtain your Laos visa online.

Because there is no Laos embassy in Poland, this eVisa (electronic visa) is very handy for Polish nationals.

To enter Laos as a Polish citizen, you must have a valid visa. A visa is required even for short vacations.

Polish citizens must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible for the Laos e-Visa:

  • Purpose of visit: Laos eVisas are provided for tourist purposes. You will require a different visa form if you are coming for another reason, such as employment or school.
  • Length of stay: Polish citizens are allowed to remain in Laos for up to 30 days. In Laos, you may request a visa extension at the immigration office.
  • Passport requirements: You must have a passport issued by Laos or another qualified nation. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Laos

Polish children need their visas to travel to Laos too. Parents and legal guardians can complete the application on their child’s behalf.

Polish citizens who do not fulfill the e-Visa requirements for Laos must apply for an alternative form of visa.

Work visas, student visas, and retirement visas are some of the other types of visas. Long-term visas must be obtained from the Laos embassy or consulate.
