Type of Rwanda e-visa
There are 5 main types of Rwanda visas for foreign travelers:
- Single entry visa: It’s a 30-day, $30 single-entry tourist visa that permits you to enter Rwanda once for a variety of reasons
- Single transit visa: In case Rwanda is your connecting country to your final destination, a single transit visa will allow you to
pass through Rwanda without staying there for 72 hours. A single transit visa costs $30 and is good for 72 hours - Single entry conference visa: one-time conference visa permits you to visit and remain in Rwanda for conferences, symposiums, and other activities
- East African visa to Rwanda: It’s a visa that permits you to go to any of the East African nations, such as Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania. An East African visa costs $100 and is valid for 90-days from the date it’s issued
- Multiple entry business visas: for commercial purposes, the Multiple entry business visas cost $50 and are valid for 90 days from the date it’s issued

Rwanda Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens
American applicants must meet the Rwanda visa requirements for US citizens. Applicants need a:
- The U.S. passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of arrival in Cambodia
- Cambodia visa photo requirements require a digital photograph
- Email address to receive notifications and the approved visa
- Filling out a list of personal data, passport information, and contact information
- Using a debit or credit card for the Rwanda eVisa fee
